Bookish Friday #9
Hello, fellow book lover!
Hope you had a great week.
This week went by so quickly, I can’t believe it’s Friday already!
Time flies.
We’re well in October now. And I’m so excited about it!
I’ve always liked fall and Halloween, but this year I’m actually excited about it all.
The crisp air, the rainy days (but only when I’m at home), and Halloween.
I’ve even decorated my house!
To match all of this excitement for fall and Halloween, I’ve decided to add a little bit of coziness and spookiness to my reading list.
I’ve always been a bit of a scaredy cat. But in the last few years, I started to slowly get into horror movies and video games.
Last year I even went to The Nightmare Realm, Ireland’s most terrifying scare attraction. This thing has won awards for how scary it is. And I went there! And actually had fun!
Through the screams and the fear, I was actually able to have fun.
So I decided that this year I would finally give horror books a try to test how scary they are.
And who knows, maybe it will become my new favorite genre.
