February Bookish Update
Hello, fellow book lover! Hope you had a great month.
This month was another good reading month for me. I read 3 books, 2 of which are part of a series that I’m now obsessed with. And thanks to this book series, I’ve found a new favourite writer.
I’ve always enjoyed mystery thrillers but lately have not felt that urge I used to feel to pick up a book from this genre. But Freida McFadden’s writing is so immersive and easy to read that made me fall in love with mystery thrillers again.
She has a lot of books out already and the 3rd and final part of the series I loved coming out this year and I can’t wait to read them all.
For March, however, I’m planning on finally giving in to the bookstagram pressure and trying out a genre I don’t usually read. Romantasy. This is those romance fantasy books that everyone online seems to love. Who knows? Maybe I’ll surprise myself and find my new favourite book genre.
Either way, keep an eye out for the updates coming soon as I’ll be trying out different genres every month.
Do you have a favourite genre?

Finished Reading:
A great book to read if you’re interested in business, and entrepreneurship, or you’re just looking for a new memoir to read. I really enjoyed learning more about the brand I wear pretty much every day. As well as what it takes to start and maintain a business.
This book honestly played me like a fool. I’m absolutely confused as to why I didn’t pick this up before. But I’m glad I did now. This is one of those books I’ll be recommending to everyone for years to come.
The sequel to The Housemaid didn’t disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised when even after I already knew what to expect, Freida still was able to surprise me with the plot twist. Freida’s writing is easy to read and captivating. Every time I picked up the book, time would fly and I would struggle to put it back down.
You should read this series if you like mystery thrillers or are just looking for a quick easy read that is not a romance.
