Hello, fellow book lover!
Hope you had a lovely Christmas 🎄
I can’t believe 2023 is ending. This year went by so fast!
But at least it was a good reading year for me.
Even though I didn’t read as many books as I did last year, I feel like I read more consistently and had fewer reading slumps throughout the year.
I’ve also accepted the idea of DNFing books when I’m not enjoying them.
I still forced myself to read a few books that I should’ve just DNFed but one step at a time 😅
But unlike Rute at the end of 2022, I’m actually really excited about next year.
I feel like this will be a great year for me and I already have a list of 40 books I want to read.
I know 😅 Wish me luck!
My reading plans for 2024 are to read more genres, styles and authors.
So feel free to recommend your favourites!
Because I believe that you can enrich your life by reading literature that takes you out of your bubble and allows you to understand different perspectives, lives, and points of view.
So I’m determined to include a broad range of demographics in my reading list. And I’m sharing it all here.
But again, this newsletter is not only for me to share my love for books with you, but also to have a conversation.
There's nothing I love more than discussing books with other book lovers. So feel free to send me your own reading updates, recommendations, and anything book-related.
