I’ve always preferred to read physical books but always felt guilty for spending so much money on books.
And yes, ten euros might not be much, but it accumulates. And when you read as many books as I do, it goes from €10 to €500+ at the end of the year.
And that’s why I’ve opted for ebooks in the last few years.
Ebooks are SO much cheaper, with sometimes being 99c or even free.
But recently I was craving the feeling of reading a physical book. The smell and feel of the paper was something my Kindle couldn’t give me. So one afternoon I went to the bookstore close to my house and picked up a book I’d been wanting to read for a while.
And now I’m obsessed.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still a big fan of the Kindle and when I took it on holidays, I proved to myself why it’s so much more practical.
But when I just want to be cosy reading a book, wrapped in a blanket and drinking some coffee, a physical book is way better than a Kindle.
With that said, here's a list of all the books I’ve acquired recently and I’m planning on reading soon.
